Meet Our Team: Dan Ladd
Every week we are posting the story behind the members of the Legacy Builder’s family. This week we would like to put a spotlight on Dan Ladd, the Managing Director of Legacy Builders. Dan has a lifetime of experience in residential development, home building and remodeling.
As a third generation builder from McHenry County, he has a unique blend of skills in all aspects of construction. The family began as production oriented builders of affordable homes in subdivisions such as Coventry and Four Colonies in Crystal Lake. They progressed to more custom developments in the county north of town in the Squaw Creek Valley, Cherry Hill, and Bull Ridge communities.
Dan then followed the progression of more upscale custom homes and remodeling in today’s environment of high levels of customization and customer integration. Dan’s background is a perfect fit to complete our company vision at Legacy Builders.
- What are some of your hobbies?
- When I have time I enjoy mountain hiking and scuba diving.
- What are your favorite Musicians?
- My favorite musicians are Steve Winwood and J.J. Cale.
- Why did you choose your profession?
- It chose me! I was born into it and have passion for the industry.
